Last night we rang the New Year in with some of our dear friends from church. There was food aplenty, games:
Apples to Apples was played by some.
Others enjoyed stacking dominoes and knocking them down.
Fellowship was had by all:
We rang in the New Year and got home about 12:20 a.m. Uncle D was reading in bed and our doorbell rang at 1:00 a.m. Our neighbor had seen that there was light on in our bedroom and thought he would deliver some homemade tamales to us. Needless to say, we slept in this morning and after a late breakfast headed to do a little shopping. Uncle D was really happy when we finally got to Home Depot. We've both have now spent the gift cards that we got for Christmas so I guess it is now time to say the Holidays are over. We do have one more day off from work and will be heading back to the salt mines on Monday.
