I work for a company that is 30 miles away from home so I dread anytime there is a threat of icy roads. Uncle D has been known to drive me to work and back on icy days. So this morning when I woke at 4:45 and saw that the school district that my company follows regarding closing in icy weather was closed, I was excited. I've been watching news coverage of the driving conditions and am very thankful that I am safe and warm at home. Uncle D did go to work and called to let me know that he'd made it fine.
